Celebrating Success: Basalt Summer Concert Series’ Stunning Debut at the New Basalt River Park
We pride ourselves on crafting legacies through distinctive architectural and interior designs. But our love for creation doesn’t stop at buildings; we are equally committed to supporting and fostering a thriving local community.
It was an honor to sponsor the free Basalt Summer Concert Series on July 12th at the newly minted Basalt River Park. This fun filled local event marked the first concert in this beautiful community space. We could not be prouder to volunteer and sponsor this event that drew record crowds and gave us the opportunity to partner with nonprofit Basalt Education Foundation.
If you took the opportunity to stop by the Z Group Architects information tent, you could have signed up for our Sonos giveaway, met our team, and grabbed some swag. Congratulations to Noemi Toth for winning our Sonos Move giveaway, donated by Simple Tech.
The Basalt River Park celebrated this inaugural event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Witnessing this set against the park’s resplendent backdrop was nothing less than a dream come true for our community, a decade in the making. Whether you choose to frolic in the grand lawn, conquer the rock-climbing wall, or relax in the picnic areas, you’re likely to find a corner that perfectly caters to your recreational needs.
Z Group Architects was honored alongside the Town of Basalt team members, elected officials - former mayor of Basalt Rick Stevens and Jacque Whitseitt, the Basalt Chamber, Burlingame Construction, Connect One Design, Town of Basalt Counsel Members - David Knight, Glenn Drummond, Angela Anderson, Elyse Hottel, Dieter Schindler, and Ryan Slack, Rocky Mountain Custom Landscapes, Bryan May Architecture + Interiors, FCI Constructors, and many more individuals and local businesses who collaborated to make the Basalt River Park, new bus stop, and River Lofts and the Gallery building possible.
But the celebration does not end there. The heartening reception of the local business stalls, the buzz in the air around our information tent, and the impressive crowd turnout at Basalt’s restaurants and shops confirms the concert’s game-changing status. Michelle Thibeault, Planning Director for the Town of Basalt, sad it best: “The concert series will be a game-changer for our residence, businesses, and visitors this summer.” It truly is an opportunity for our community to come together and support one another.
Looking to the future, we invite you to support our local community and area businesses by attending the upcoming concerts that run till August 30th and experience the vibrancy that is the lifeblood of our thriving community.
