Scott has worked in the architecture profession since 1994 after being born and raised in Falls, PA. He joined Z Group Architects in 2020 as a Principal and Director of Design. Collaborative design in architecture is a passion as he strives to create exciting design solutions for clients, the community, and the environment. With over 28 years in the field of architecture and design, his ability to lead project teams from inception to conclusion has produced designs that are characterized by their site-responsive aesthetics, sustainability, and connectedness to nature. His experience allows him to efficiently oversee the entire process of a project, including establishing and developing conceptual directives, incorporating and implementing design concepts, and overseeing the effectiveness and quality control of document production through to contract administration services. He has a broad range of project experience, ranging from luxury custom homes, multifamily condominiums, affordable housing projects, hospitality/luxury resort hotels, master planning, base village resort development, and commercial development to infrastructure and transportation projects. His projects span various regions geographically including Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, Korea, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
With a love for the mountains and outdoor activities, Scott moved to Colorado in 1995. He enjoys taking advantage of what Colorado has to offer during ski season and often hits the slopes with his wife and son, as well as playing hockey. In the summer, Scott enjoys mountain biking, hiking, adventure motorcycle riding, and camping. He’s involved closely with the local community, including serving as a Board Member and the Director of Development for Habitat for Humanity Roaring Fork Valley.
