Melanie Noonan
Senior Project Manager
Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Melanie received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Temple University. As part of Temple’s five-year Architecture program, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Italy at the Temple Rome campus. Living and studying in Rome deepened her love of historic architecture and how different cultures build upon, respond to, and integrate new and old.
Melanie moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2005 and started at Z Group in 2011. As a Senior Project Manager, she has a multifaceted role guiding all phases of design, construction documentation, and construction administration to project completion. She has extensive experience in a variety of project types and understands the unique challenges of working with local municipalities, codes, and other requirements. She enjoys collaborating with team members to create innovative and individualized design solutions for every project type. Projects of note are the renovation and addition to High Alpine on Snowmass Mountain and the reconstruction of Fort Frog on Buttermilk Mountain. Melanie’s focus has been on residential design. Whether it’s a remodel, addition, or new construction, she enjoys creating unique spaces that find a balance between function and design.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys road-tripping with her family, camping, white water rafting, hiking with her dogs, or just being outdoors. She is active in the community through her daughter’s school and church.
