From the heart of Central Minnesota, Ian brings a strong foundation in architectural design to Z Group. He holds a Master of Architecture from North Dakota State University and an Associate of Arts from Central Lake College.

Ian's architectural journey began in college, working in construction during the summer. This experience was complemented by a job at a small architecture firm in Fargo, ND, where he expanded his skills across various design projects. Each role he undertook broadened his knowledge and deepened his understanding of the industry.

The Roaring Fork Valley became home in 2024. When Ian isn't drafting designs, you’ll find him exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors. He enjoys fly fishing, hiking, camping, and skiing, activities that inspire his work and bring a fresh perspective to his designs.
