Evan Weller was born and raised in Springfield, IL. With a passion for architecture rooted in his early years, he pursued his undergraduate studies at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL, earning a Bachelor's in Self-Design Architectural Studies and Spanish in 2021. He then advanced his education by obtaining a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2024. His academic journey includes a notable certification in Design-Build from the CU Denver Design-Build Workshop, where he participated in designing and constructing a research station for NOAA on Cape Sheriff Island in Antarctica. Evan's rich educational background is further enhanced by an internship with the Society of Architectural Studies and an influential study abroad experience in Rome, Italy.

His passion for architecture is deeply rooted in his lifelong love for art and design, inspired by his uncle who is an interior designer. He brings a strong proficiency in Adobe Design Suite and various rendering programs to the firm, enhancing conceptual designs. Known for his quick and effective sketches, Evan excels in translating ideas into reality. His role as a team captain in college swimming has ingrained a strong sense of teamwork and dedication, complementing his focus on high-end luxury housing projects. Evan states, "Architecture has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a beautifully restored 1920s house made me appreciate the importance of living spaces. I joined Z Group to provide that same feeling to clients." 

In his personal time, Evan is a passionate artist, avidly painting and sketching. He enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, open-water swimming, paddle boarding, and hiking. A food enthusiast, Evan loves Thai and Indian cuisines and enjoys mixing cocktails for friends and family. He maintains close ties with his parents and friends, often engaging in annual travels and social events. Independent and sociable, he balances his interests with professional growth, always ready for new challenges and experiences.
